Happy Pride, friends. Here are some of the many many LGBTQ+ episodes of AEWCH

Friends,
I’m proud to say that my podcast really, actually, truly supports LGBTQ+ people. Not in some abstract sense that reduces us to representation or even community, but in real ways:

In the ways we express and experience ourselves individually through culture, art, sex, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and spirituality.

In how we work on what happens when two or more of us come together and to meet in the political sphere and what rights, what sense of kinship, should be secured for each of us.

In how we connect to everyone – in spirit and its external expressions of environment and economy.

I have always hated that when so-called marginalized people are actually asked to speak, we are asked to speak about how we are marginalized, or about how we have overcome marginalization.

What about everything else about us? What about the depths of wisdom, love, truth, and creativity we have to offer?

This week, instead of posting a new episode, I thought I’d point you to some of the many episodes featuring LGBTQ+ guests.*

These are writers, performers, activists, and more. Some of these episodes are no longer available on Spotify because they’ve aged off the platform, but they’re all here for you and you can listen to them on soundcloud or via the links below.
(Please note: most of the YouTube links DO NOT WORK anymore. I’m removing all YouTube content slowly.)
