Destiny-work looks toward balancing wisdom with love and truth.

It is a wisdom that means we no longer feel like we are abandoning the world to work on ourselves or burning out just to work on the world.

Destiny-work helps answer an age-old question that has never been more important: HOW can I change my life in a way that affects the life of the world?

Can you tell me more about what the lecture is like?

UP FROM RUINS: USING DESTINY-WORK TO CONNECT SELF DEVELOPMENT WITH WORLD CHALLENGES is a 90 minute lecture bringing together many of the themes that show up on AEWCH. I’ll be touching on my own life in ruins and re-building, but also Rudolf Steiner’s life and work, the ruins philosophy of Michel Serres, Peter Sloterdjik’s concept of “life reform,” and radical activism + mutual aid.

But rather than having it be abstract and theoretical, it will help you incorporate the wisdom found there into your own life.

Is there a difference in watching the recording vs the live-streaming lecture? What about the live call?

If you attend the lecture, you’ll be able to ask questions using a Q&A function. If you don’t, you, um, won’t. But you’ll still get to see the lecture in its entirety. The live call is a bit different in that we’ll actually be interacting with each other more. The recording will still be great, just less interactive for you, obviously. Both are available for 90 days after they post.

What does the one-on-one work entail?

Each person has a different connection to destiny so these will each be very different. These are individualized meetings. that don’t have a specific format except before the meeting: After you sign up, but before we meet, you’ll get a few questions to mull over to lay the groundwork to most effectively bring you into the destiny-work.

When you say LIMITED SPACE for one-on-one meetings…

I want to make these meetings available to patrons first – which is why the portal to them closes so soon. I’d rather be interacting with people in this community before offering it to others.

Can you be more specific about what “destiny-work” is?

It’s a term I’ve developed for aligning material world work and inner world work, with a special regard for how inner work can affect the material conditions of the world and vice versa. But it’s about the arc of an entire lifetime, not just one moment in a life.

Is there an alternate payment plan? Can I pay via patreon?

All patreon patrons can pay via switching to an annual contribution. But it’s a little complicated – To do this, you have to calculate how much your support would be for a year PLUS the fee for whatever option you choose. If you don’t do this, I end up losing money and your pledge. But I’m offering it as an option because it might be easier for you to keep all support here. But PLEASE (prayer emoji!) make sure you calculate it properly. if you want the offering + live call – which is $226 – and your patreon pledge is $5.00/month, calculate one year of patreon patronage PLUS the extra amount. 226.00 + $60.00 and make a one-time annual pledge of $286.00. Patreon will automatically give you a small discount, so it’s a good way to do it and save a little.
